Karan Johar’s talk show Koffee With Karan Season 6 is all about unconventional pairs. The show is all about spilling the beans of the entertainment industry, and the current season has lived up to its expectations.

The latest guests to grace the couch were Bachchan siblings Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda. They shared some interesting childhood memories and talked about their bond.

Here are the major highlights.

Opinion on Bollywood:

Shweta says she does not want her children—Navya Naveli and Agastya — to be part of the entertainment industry. According to her, Bollywood is an unfortunate, dark and unstable place to live in.

On the other hand, Abhishek admits about getting complacent and taking two-year breaks. He speaks about moving from the centre of the frame to the left and reveals how heartbreaking it was for him.

Shweta reveals that Abhishek has always been mom Jaya Bachchan’s favourite, and that she is no different from her character in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham when it comes to Abhishek.

Continuing the conversation, junior Bachchan says it’s the other was round Shweta with father Amitabh Bachchan. “Even if God or saints are in the room and if Shweta is there it’s all over! Nothing else matters to him.”

The rapid-fire session brings some secrets in the open. Shweta reveals that her brother would wet his bed and suck his thumbs as a kid. On the other hand, Abhishek says Shweta had a huge crush on Aamir Khan when she was a teenager and Aamir used to write letters to Shweta on her birthdays.

The paparazzi:

Why does Jaya Bachchan hate paparazzi? Host Karan Johar asks this and Shweta replies that they make her mother feel claustrophobic. Apparently, Jaya also feels she looks bad in selfies, according to Abhishek. Karan ends the topic by saying paparazzi just say hi to her and let her pass by quietly as they are scared to click her.
