Bengali actor Dev Adhikari chose the first day of the Bengali new year to release another trailer of his upcoming crime thriller Kabir. The film is based on Indian Mujahideen founder Yasin Bhatkal’s arrest near the Indo-Nepal border around five years ago. The trailer of the film mostly covers the train sequence of where Dev meets the female Rukmini Maitra, essaying the role of Yasmin.

Dev took to Twitter to release the trailer of Kabir and wrote: “Here is the #PoilaBoishakh gift to all the film lovers or you guys may call it a #SundaySurprise. Presenting the Official Trailer 2 of #KABIR.” Check out the trailer here.

However, both the trailers haven’t revealed much about the story but the last one shows Rukmini Maitra as an army official. According to TOI, Rukmini Maitra found it difficult to adapt the de-glam look and complicated character of Yasmin.

The makers reveal that the toughest part to shoot was in the running train and it’s the first time in Bengali film industry that such an attempt has been made.
