Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez suffered an eye injury during the Race 3 shooting. While shooting for high-intensity sequences, she met with an accident.

On Saturday (May 9), Jacqueline Fernandez took to her Instagram handle and shared the picture of her eye. She captioned the picture as, “So it’s a permanent injury and my iris will never be a perfect round again but so so grateful I can see!! #race3 memories #abudhabi”

Ramesh Taurani, producer of Race 3 confirmed that while playing Squash during the shooting, Jacqueline met with the accident and was immediately rushed to the hospital. The actor was administered primary treatment and, thereafter, she returned to the sets to complete the scheduled shoot.

A few months back when Jacqueline was injured, she shared the video in which she thanked her fans for the care and love for her. She took to her Instagram story to thank her fans, “Thank you all for your ‘get well soon’ wishes, really means a lot. I did kind of injure my right eye and I have to do an entire climax scene in sunglasses now, so don’t be shocked”.

She added, “Moral of the story is, try and wear goggles when you are playing squash and never look back at your opponent when he is about to hit the ball. ”

Race 3 also stars Salman Khan, Daisy Shah, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Saqib Saleem and is all set to hit the theatres next Friday (June 15, 2018).
