Ariana Grande has something to say to everyone worrying about her future in music. She is not going anywhere.
The pop icon and actress, now 32, took to Instagram to directly address swirling rumors claiming she might be stepping away from singing. In a heartfelt and slightly cheeky message, Ariana reassured fans that music is still her first love and will always be a huge part of her life.
“Very silly of you all to assume that just because I have my hands full with many things that I plan to abandon singing & music!” she wrote.
Ariana admitted that her musical path might not follow the same pattern as before, but that’s actually a good thing in her eyes. She’s embracing the changes in her life and career, and says she’s “grateful, excited, and inspired” by what’s coming next.

She added, “It may not look exactly like it did before, but I much prefer how it looks in my head. I’m having fun. I feel grateful and excited and inspired.”
Ariana Grande also hinted at some musical plans for 2026, teasing that she’s working on a way to sing for her fans next year, even if it’s “just for a little.”
Her post comes at a time when she’s balancing multiple creative projects. Just recently, it was announced that she will lend her voice to the upcoming animated film ‘Oh, the Places You’ll Go!’, directed by ‘Wicked’ filmmaker Jon M. Chu.
The movie is likely to hit theatres in 2028 and will feature original music from acclaimed duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, known for their work on ‘La La Land’ and ‘The Greatest Showman’.
That’s not all Ariana has on her plate. She’s currently celebrating her first Oscar nomination for playing Glinda in ‘Wicked’, which is going to release its first part in 2025.
On the music front, she scored a major win when the deluxe edition of her latest album ‘Eternal Sunshine’ topped the Billboard 200. And if that wasn’t enough, she has also joined the cast of ‘Meet the Parents 4’, alongside Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro.
