Big news is buzzing in the Marvel world! Actor Mark Ruffalo, who plays The Incredible Hulk, is reportedly in talks to appear in the next Spider-Man movie, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’.

While there’s no official confirmation yet, sources told ‘Deadline’ that Ruffalo might bring back his big green superhero for this much-awaited film.

Mark Ruffalo has already played the Hulk in many Marvel movies. Fans loved him in ‘The Avengers’ series, ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, and even his small appearance in ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’.

Adding to the excitement, Sony Pictures released a short teaser on August 1, also known as Spider-Man Day. The 8-second clip gave fans a peek at a new Spidey suit. The suit features bold red fabric with raised black webbing, closely resembling the classic comic book look. A shadowy black spider symbol is also briefly visible on the chest.

Alongside the teaser, Sony posted the message: “Something brand new is coming… #SpiderManDay.” The short video has already gotten fans hyped for what’s coming next.

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ will be the fourth film in the Tom Holland-led Spider-Man series. Holland will return as Peter Parker, the well-loved “friendly neighborhood” superhero. Zendaya is back too, playing MJ, Peter’s girlfriend, and Jacob Batalon will reprise his role as Ned, Peter’s best friend.

In a surprise reveal, ‘Stranger Things’ star Sadie Sink has also joined the cast. But her character remains a mystery for now.

Even though the teaser gave a taste of the new look, the full film won’t hit theatres until July 31, 2026. Fans will have to wait nearly a year to find out how Hulk might fit into the story, or what new challenges Spider-Man will face this time.
