Rock band Guns N’ Roses will play two concerts in India in November 2026 as part of the Asia leg of their ongoing world tour. The shows are set for Nice Grounds in Bengaluru on November 14 and Khanapara Ground in Guwahati on November 17. Both events are produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live.
The venues and dates
The Bengaluru show takes place at Nice Grounds on November 14. Four days later, on November 17, the band moves to Khanapara Ground in Guwahati. Both are large open-air venues capable of hosting major stadium-scale productions.
Nice Grounds in Bengaluru has hosted several big international acts in recent years. The city has developed reputation as hub for rock music in India. Khanapara Ground in Guwahati is well-known events space in Assam, regularly used for large public gatherings and concerts.
Why Guwahati?
The Guwahati date is a notable move. Guns N’ Roses has previously played India’s major metros. Expanding to the northeast marks a shift in how international acts are thinking about the Indian market.
Naman Pugalia, chief business officer of live events at BookMyShow, addressed this directly. He said Bengaluru has established itself as India’s rock capital. He added that Guwahati reflects the growing appetite for large-scale live entertainment beyond the country’s traditional metropolitan hubs. Pugalia also pointed to it as evidence of the potential in emerging markets across the region.
The northeast of India has historically been underserved when it comes to international touring acts.

The band’s India history
Guns N’ Roses performed in India in 2025, their first visit to the country in more than a decade. Those shows marked a significant return after years of absence. The 2026 dates now build on that momentum.
Prior to 2025, the band had last performed in India in 2012, when they played Mumbai and Bangalore as part of their global touring activities. The gap of over a decade reflected the broader challenges international acts faced in touring the subcontinent during that period.
Who is in the band
The current touring lineup includes Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan, Dizzy Reed, Richard Fortus, Isaac Carpenter, and Melissa Reese. Rose is the founding vocalist and the only constant member throughout the band’s history. Slash, the lead guitarist, and McKagan, the bassist, both rejoined the group in 2016 after a split that lasted over two decades.
The reunion brought together the core of the classic lineup that recorded the band’s most iconic material in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Since rejoining, the three have continued touring extensively.
New music and the ongoing tour
The India dates are part of a larger world tour. Alongside the tour, the band has released two new singles: “Nothin'” and “Atlas.” These are the band’s first original recordings since 2023.
The two tracks take different directions. “Atlas” is built on driving rock energy. “Nothin'” leans on keyboards and introspective guitar work.
Tour numbers and legacy
Guns N’ Roses sold 1.3 million tickets on their 2024 world tour alone. Their earlier reunion run, called “Not in This Lifetime,” ranks as the fourth-highest-grossing concert tour of all time. That tour ran from 2016 to 2019 and grossed over $580 million globally.
The band formed in Los Angeles in 1985. Their debut album, “Appetite for Destruction” released in 1987 became one of best-selling debut albums in history. It included songs like “Welcome to the Jungle,” “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” “Paradise City.”
Their follow-up releases, the two-part “Use Your Illusion” albums from 1991, further made their standing as one of the defining rock acts of their era. “November Rain,” from that period, remains one of the most streamed classic rock songs on digital platforms.
