October is here. And, with it comes spooky chills and big-screen thrills. Netflix has just dropped the much-anticipated trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s take on ‘Frankenstein’. Fans finally get a real look at Jacob Elordi as the iconic monster.
Until now, his character had been hidden in shadows and mystery, but the new clip reveals more of his haunting presence. This comes with a voiceover that’s bound to send shivers down your spine.
The star power doesn’t stop there. Oscar Isaac steps into the role of Victor Von Frankenstein, the ambitious scientist whose obsession with creation leads to terrifying consequences.

Alongside him is Mia Goth as Elizabeth Lavenza, Victor’s bride-to-be. She finds herself caught in the middle of love, ambition, and horror. The trailer teases sweeping sets, from a ship stranded in frozen waters to grand ballrooms filled with drama.

‘Frankenstein’ has already built a strong reputation on the film festival circuit. The movie premiered at the Venice Film Festival. There it received warm praise, followed by surprise screenings at Telluride.
At the Toronto International Film Festival, it even snagged the runner-up spot for the prestigious People’s Choice Award.
Del Toro’s adaptation is described as epic in length and scope, staying true to Mary Shelley’s classic novel while adding his own gothic touch.
Fans won’t have to wait long. ‘Frankenstein’ will first hit select theaters on October 17 in a limited run, designed to qualify for award consideration.
Then, just in time for darker November nights, the film will make its way onto Netflix on November 7.
