Actress Sanya Malhotra has once again left fans amazed and this time with her graceful dance moves. The ‘Dangal’ star recently revealed that she danced in heels for the very first time while performing in Diljit Dosanjh’s latest music video, ‘Charmer’, and absolutely loved the experience.
Sharing a behind-the-scenes glimpse on Instagram, Sanya posted a video of herself rehearsing for the track. Dressed in a flowing white outfit, she’s moving effortlessly to the upbeat rhythm. But the real twist? She was doing it all in heels, something she admitted she had never tried before.
In her caption, Sanya wrote, “Charmer. Never danced in heels before and now I don’t want to stop. Even better that I got to do it to Charmer by the charmer @diljitdosanjh. Grateful to @yasshkadamm and @_tanishamaheshwari for the push and to @sharicsequeira for being the best hype man/director a girl could ask for.”
Her post quickly caught the attention of fellow celebrities. Actress Janhvi Kapoor dropped a bunch of fire emojis in the comments. Fans too flooded the section with heart emojis.

The music video for ‘Charmer’ released on October 20. It features Sanya in a dazzling dance sequence that perfectly sits well Diljit’s lively vocals. The track is part of Diljit’s album ‘AURA’ with music by Avvy Sra and lyrics penned by Raj Ranjodh.
Directed by Sharic Sequeira and shot by Shlok Ahuja, the video has a modern yet dreamy vibe. Choreographer Yassh Kadamm brings out Sanya’s playful side.
Earlier this year, another song from ‘AURA’, titled ‘Kufar’, featured Manushi Chhillar and was also well received by fans. With ‘Charmer’, Diljit continues to blend his signature Punjabi beats with a global stylish twist.
On the work front, Sanya Malhotra recently appeared in ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’, a romantic comedy alongside Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor which hit theatres on October 1. Up next, she will be seen in Anurag Kashyap’s much-awaited film ‘Bandar’ co-starring Bobby Deol. The film premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival. It has already generated strong buzz.
