The ‘Bigg Boss 19’ house has found its first real spark of drama, and interestingly, it comes from Gaurav Khanna, who knows how to win hearts with food. Celebrity ‘MasterChef India’ winner Khanna has stepped into the controversial reality show with a clear message: he’s not here to cook, he’s here to conquer.
The latest kitchen task became the battleground where Gaurav showed that his strategy in the game goes far beyond chopping vegetables and stirring curries. The housemates had to decide who would take charge of kitchen duties, and while Nehal Chudasama was eager to prove her skills, the group leaned towards Abhishek Bajaj.
The choice created instant tension, leaving Nehal frustrated and Gaurav in the middle of a brewing storm.
Not one to stay silent, Gaurav firmly expressed his stance. In a chat with fellow contestant Baseer Ali, he declared, “I have come here for a reason, to win, not to cook. Everyone here has the right to speak, and so do I.”

Gaurav also hinted that the peaceful beginning of the show is coming to an end. With a mischievous smile, he said, “Aaj se kalesh hoga, honeymoon period over, ab maza aayega.” (From today, the clashes will begin. The honeymoon period is over. Now the real fun starts.)
The season kicked off with another much-talked-about task involving beds. Contestants had to nominate one person to sleep outside, and almost unanimously, Mridul Tiwari was left without a bed.
The line-up this year is as diverse as ever, mixing television stars, social media faces, and singers. Alongside Gaurav Khanna, the contestants include Amaal Mallik, Awez Darbar, Ashnoor Kaur, Mridul Tiwari, Nagma Mirajkar, Kunickaa Sadanand, Baseer Ali, Abhishek Bajaj, Tanya Mittal, Zeishan Quadri, Nehal Chudasama, Natalia Janoszek, Pranit More, Farhana Bhatt, and Neelam Giri.
Adding to the intrigue, the makers of ‘Bigg Boss 19’ have designed the house with a completely new vibe. This time, it draws inspiration from camping in the wild, with raw wooden textures and the feel of a cabin tucked away in the forest.
