Album complete and ready to roll
The announcement follows another social media update, where Bruno confirmed the album’s completion.
Posting on X, he simply wrote, “My album is done.”
First solo album since ‘24K Magic’
‘The Romantic’ marks Bruno Mars’ first solo album since 2016’s ‘24K Magic’, which delivered hits like “24K Magic”, “That’s What I Like”, and the remix of “Finesse” featuring Cardi B. That album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and won multiple Grammys.
While he hasn’t released a solo album in nearly 10 years, Bruno has stayed active in the music scene.
Chart-topping collaborations keep him in the spotlight
In 2024, Bruno teamed up with South Korean band BLACKPINK’s Rose on the global hit APT. It soared to No. 1 on Billboard charts and won Song of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards. The track even bagged three Grammy nominations.
His 2025 collaboration with Lady Gaga, ‘Die With a Smile’, was another massive success. The song stayed on the Billboard Hot 100 for five non-consecutive weeks and became the fastest track to hit one billion Spotify streams.
