Sara Ali Khan is on cloud nine after the warm response to her latest film ‘Metro…In Dino’. Taking to Instagram, the actress recently shared a series of fun behind-the-scenes photos from the film’s set, giving her fans a peek into her off-screen shenanigans.
Alongside the quirky snapshots, Sara also posted an emotional thank you note, expressing gratitude to the audience for embracing her character, Chumki.
“Grateful, blessed, and so, so, so happy. Thank you for all the love you’ve given our film, and for accepting and loving Chumki too,” Sara wrote.
In her typical playful tone, she added, “P.S: Clearly there was no middle ground with our moods!”
Earlier, in a chat with IANS, Sara reflected on what it was like working under director Anurag Basu. Known for his unconventional filmmaking style, Basu allows actors room to experiment.

“I was honestly taken aback by how free the process was,” Sara shared. “Basu da doesn’t tie you down with rigid instructions. He lets you play, explore, and sometimes, something magical happens. He calls it magic. I think it’s about letting go of control and just living in the moment. The set would come alive like that, with a kind of energy you could actually feel.”
‘Metro…In Dino’, which hit theatres on July 4th, marks the third installment in Anurag Basu’s “Metro” series, following ‘Life in a… Metro’ and ‘Ludo’.
This star-studded film brings together a powerhouse ensemble cast, including Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Konkona Sen Sharma, Anupam Kher, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Saswata Chatterjee, and of course, Sara Ali Khan.
Produced under the banners of T-Series and Anurag Basu Productions, the film has been backed by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu himself, and Taani Basu. The movie weaves together multiple love stories and complex human relationships in true Basu style.
