Salman Khan, one of Bollywood’s biggest stars, recently opened up about a deep and meaningful piece of advice he received from his father, legendary writer Salim Khan.
In a rare emotional post on Instagram, Salman shared the powerful message that people should not blame others for their choices, because no one can truly make you do something unless you allow it.
Posting a picture of himself in a black T-shirt, Salman wrote: “Present becomes your past, past catches up to your future, present is a gift, do right with it. Mistakes repeated become a habit and then your character. Don’t blame anyone, no one can make you do anything that you don’t want to. My dad just said this to me. It’s so true. Wish I had heard this earlier, but never too late.”
Fans were quick to respond with love and appreciation. The comments were filled with heart emojis and supportive words.
On the professional front, Salman Khan last appeared in ‘Sikandar’, a high-octane drama where he starred opposite Rashmika Mandanna. The film also featured an ensemble cast including Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Sathyaraj, Jatin Sarna, Sanjay Kapoor, Prateik, and Kishore.

In the film, Salman played Sanjay “Sikandar” Rajkot, a man haunted by his past and determined to make things right after a tragic event. Despite the star-studded lineup and action-packed storyline, the movie didn’t do well at the box office. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, ‘Sikandar’ had high hopes but failed to meet expectations.
Salman Khan’s next big role will see him in the uniform of the Indian Army in ‘Battle of Galwan’. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the movie is based on the real-life 2020 clash between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley, along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh.
The violent clash, which took place on June 16, 2020, claimed the lives of 20 Indian soldiers. While China also suffered losses, the exact number was not confirmed. The incident led to rising tensions between the two countries, and the Indian army strengthened its presence in the region to prevent further aggression.
