Gossip was flying high at Mumbai airport when Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor suddenly became the centre of attention not for a movie, but for a queue controversy.

A video showing her walking past the long security line and heading straight to the scanning point has gone viral. This has left passengers surprised and the internet buzzing with questions about privilege, protocol, and celebrity treatment.

The moment quickly caught attention because it appeared she did not follow the usual queue system.

Eyewitness-style reactions from the airport suggested confusion among travellers. Some people looked puzzled as the actor moved ahead, while others wondered if this was part of a security protocol for high-profile celebrities.

Airport staff appeared to escort her directly, which fuelled the discussion online about whether this was VIP privilege or a safety measure.

Social media divided over VIP treatment

Once the video spread online, social media users quickly split into two camps. One group criticised the actor, calling it unfair that she could bypass the queue while others waited. They argued that no one should get special treatment in public spaces.

Another group defended her, saying celebrities often require security arrangements that allow them to move quickly to avoid crowding or risk.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena Kapoor is preparing for her upcoming film ‘Daayra’, directed by Meghna Gulzar. The shooting for the film is already complete, and it is likely to release later this year.
