The Bandland music festival scheduled to be held on February 14 and 15 in Bengaluru has been cancelled, disappointing fans who had been eagerly awaiting the event.
Organisers make announcement on social media
BookMyShow Live announced the decision on Wednesday through a post on its official Instagram handle. In a note addressed to fans, the organisers wrote, “Bandland Fam, this one hurts to share. Bandland 2026, scheduled for February 14 & 15, will not be going ahead as planned.”
Why was Bandland cancelled?
The cancellation follows the announcement that Muse, one of the festival’s headlining acts, has called off its upcoming tour due to unforeseen circumstances. This development directly impacted their scheduled performance at Bandland.
Organisers explain the decision
Explaining the decision further, the organisers said that with the festival just a month away and their commitment to delivering an uncompromised live experience, they chose to cancel this year’s edition to uphold the quality that Bandland stands for.
“We completely respect their decision and send them love. We know this is disappointing news, it is for us too, and we’re incredibly grateful for your trust, patience, and love for Bandland,” the note added.
How will refunds be processed?
The organisers assured ticket holders that full refunds will be issued. All refunds will be processed within 8 to 10 working days to the original mode of payment.
Refunds for Bandland add-ons purchased along with other events will also be issued, with further details to be communicated directly to customers.
Message to fans
The statement concluded by thanking fans for their continued support and for being part of the Bandland community, assuring them that their trust and patience are deeply valued.
