Chris Evans and Thor lead the early buzz

The first teaser released on December 23. It surprised audiences by bringing back Chris Evans as Captain America. After his dramatic farewell in ‘Avengers: Endgame’, seeing Steve Rogers back in action has Marvel fans buzzing.

A week later, the second teaser shined the spotlight on Thor, with Chris Hemsworth reprising the God of Thunder in what looks like a cosmic-scale adventure. The teaser hinted at epic battles, humour, and possibly some heartfelt moments, classic to Hemsworth’s Thor.

Then came the third teaser on January 6, which sent fans into pure nostalgia overdrive.

X-Men are officially in the MCU

Yes, you read that right. For the first time ever, Marvel is uniting the X-Men and the Avengers on the big screen. The teaser introduces Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, and James Marsden as Cyclops. You might have thought this reunion was not coming after Fox’s X-Men films.

The teaser opens with Xavier’s abandoned School for Gifted Youngsters, instantly tugging at long-time fans’ hearts. Magneto ominously intones, “Death comes for us all. It’s all I know for sure. The question isn’t ‘are you prepared to die?’ The question is ‘who would you be when you close your eyes?’”

Fans caught their breath when the camera focused on Xavier’s wheelchair and a floating chess piece, an Easter egg recalling ‘X-Men: The Last Stand’.

The reunion between Xavier and Magneto looks emotional, but it doesn’t stay peaceful for long. Cyclops appears, unleashing a massive red optic blast.

The teaser also hints at classic X-Men villains showing a towering mechanical leg in the distance that fans instantly recognised as a Sentinel. Could the mutant-hunting robots finally wreak havoc in the MCU? Marvel isn’t telling… yet.

‘Avengers: Doomsday’ cast

‘Avengers: Doomsday’ isn’t just an Avengers film. It’s a multiverse-smashing, hero-packed extravaganza. Alongside Evans and Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr. returns, not as Tony Stark, but as Marvel villain Victor von Doom.

Yes, Iron Man’s face is back on screens, but in a completely unexpected role.

The cast reads like a Marvel fan’s dream list:

Avengers stars: Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, Letitia Wright, Wyatt Russell, Winston Duke, Simu Liu, Tom Hiddleston

Fantastic Four additions: Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach

X-Men ensemble: Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James Marsden, Kelsey Grammer (Beast), Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler), Channing Tatum (Gambit), Rebecca Romijn (Mystique)
