Television actor and host Jay Bhanushali and his wife, actress Mahhi (Mahi) Vij, are once again in the spotlight but this time it’s for the wrong reasons. Rumours of a possible split have been making rounds on social media leaving fans curious about the couple’s marital status.
Amid the chatter, Jay tried to put a positive spin on things. Recently, he took to social media to wish Mahhi luck for her new television show, ‘Seher’. Sharing the teaser, he wrote, “Looking forward to Mahhi Vij shining. Looking promising.”
The gesture seemed supportive, but fans quickly noticed Mahhi reshared the post without any comment or emojis. Some wondered if this silent acknowledgment was meaningful or just polite.
For the record, neither Jay Bhanushali nor Mahhi Vij has confirmed any separation. In fact, Mahhi recently sent out a strong warning against false rumours.
After a social media channel claimed the couple was splitting, she commented, “Don’t post false narratives. I’ll take legal action against this.”
The timing of these rumours coincides with recent social media posts by both Jay and Mahhi, which fans have been scrutinizing closely. Jay shared adorable pictures with his youngest daughter Tara without Mahhi in sight.
Meanwhile, Mahhi posted a video expressing how excited she was to see her children who were on a trip to Japan with their father. She said she was eagerly waiting to hug them but didn’t mention Jay in her post which fueled further speculation.
