Actress Ankita Lokhande recently gave her fans a peek into her love for ‘shringar’/ She described it as “a festival within”.
The ‘Pavitra Rishta’ star shared an Instagram reel that captured her getting ready. She looked radiant in a bright orange saree paired with a matching blouse.
From applying sindoor on her forehead and kajal around her eyes to flaunting delicate silver jhumkas, Ankita’s shringar was a celebration of every little detail. The clip also showed her styling her hair into a bun, applying lipstick. She finally pauses to admire her reflection in the mirror, exuding joy and elegance.
The reel was accompanied by the soulful track “Piyu Bole” from ‘Parineeta’.
Alongside the video, Ankita shared her thoughts on the significance of shringar in her life. She wrote, “Sindoor, bangles, bindi… every little detail carries its own story of love and blessings… here’s a special happiness in shringar… it feels like a festival within.”

While Ankita continues to embrace her roots in acting, she has now embarked on an exciting new journey as a producer. Her home banner, Legend Studios, in collaboration with Sandeep Singh and Vicky Jain, marks her entry into film production.
Speaking about balancing acting and producing, Ankita made it clear that acting will “always remain my first love.” She explained that producing is not about stepping back from acting but is instead her way of giving back to the industry. “Producing is an extension of my creative journey,” she said.
Ankita reflected on her career coming full circle. She shared that her first single-lead film came through Sandeep Singh, who is now also helping her produce her debut project.
Her debut production involves relaunching a cult classic, ‘Chandni Bar’, originally starring Tabu and Atul Kulkarni.
