Actor Ali Fazal recently made headlines as he attended a special screening of his upcoming Hollywood film, ‘Rule Breakers’, at the UK Parliament. The event was hosted by MP Alice McDonald, and for Ali, it was a moment filled with pride and gratitude.

Speaking about the experience, Ali shared how honoured he felt to be part of such a prestigious occasion.

“Being invited by MP Alice McDonald to the UK Parliament for ‘Rule Breakers’ is truly a privilege. It’s not just about presenting a film, but also about starting conversations around stories that challenge norms and inspire change,” he said.

Ali emphasized that this moment was about more than just himself. “I feel honoured to represent not only myself but also the incredible teams I’ve had the chance to work with over the years,” he added.

He also praised filmmaker Bill Guttentag, saying that collaborating with him was a dream come true. “To present our film in such a historic and influential space is truly humbling,” Ali said.

‘Rule Breakers’ is a gripping, women-centric drama that tells the story of a visionary woman who risks everything to educate young girls in a society where such efforts are often seen as rebellion. As her work gains global attention, the journey becomes a source of both hope and conflict. The film also stars Phoebe Waller Bridge and is directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Bill Guttentag.
