Football superstar Lionel Messi surprised fans over the weekend when he attended a Coldplay concert at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
The event, already packed with energy, became even more memorable when Messi and his family were spotted enjoying the show from a VIP box.
At the Coldplay concert, Messi was joined by his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, and their three sons: Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro. Antonela later shared photos from the night on Instagram. The pictures showed the couple smiling and enjoying the music together. She kept the caption simple, writing just “Coldplay” with a heart emoji.
While many fans were thrilled to see Messi at the concert, one particular moment stole the spotlight; a kiss cam shot of the football legend and his wife. As the camera landed on the pair, fans in the stadium erupted with cheers, chanting “Messi! Messi!”
Even Coldplay’s frontman, Chris Martin, took a moment during the performance to acknowledge Messi’s presence.
Speaking warmly to the crowd, Martin said, “Oh Leo, my beautiful brother. You and your wife are looking so fine, thank you for coming to see our band play.” He even went on to call Messi the “No. 1 sportsperson of all time,” according to a report by ESPN.

The Messi family seemed to enjoy the night thoroughly, with smiles and good vibes all around. Fans online were quick to react to the photos, leaving comments that both praised the couple’s bond and poked fun at recent controversies.
One fan commented, “At least someone went with their own wife. Good.” Another added, “Family first, unlike those ones.”
Earlier this month, former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and HR executive Kristin Cabot came under fire after they were caught on the kiss cam during another Coldplay concert. The issue? Both were married, but to other people.
The viral video caused a storm online. And, both individuals ended up resigning from their jobs, as reported by Page Six.
