Excitement is building for Prime Video fans because the first look of upcoming thriller series ’56 Days’ is finally out. The show stars Hollywood actors Dove Cameron and Avan Jogia.
Based on the bestselling novel by Catherine Ryan Howard, ’56 Days’ promises a mix of suspense and psychological twists. The series follows Oliver (played by Avan Jogia) and Ciara (Dove Cameron). They meet by chance at a supermarket. And their connection is instant and intense. What starts as a passionate romance spirals into danger.
Fifty-six days after their first encounter, homicide investigators discover a gruesomely murdered body in Oliver’s apartment. Who is responsible? Did Oliver kill Ciara? Or was it the other way around?
The series alternates between the present-day investigation and the story of the young couple’s whirlwind relationship. This aims to create a tension-filled narrative that keeps viewers guessing.

The star-studded cast also includes Karla Souza as Lee Reardon and Dorian Missick as Karl Connolly. The show is written and executive-produced by Lisa Zwerling and Karyn Usher. Big names like James Wan, Michael Clear, and Rob Hackett are also on board as executive producers through their production company, Atomic Monster.
Catherine Ryan Howard, the author of the original novel, serves as co-executive producer. Danielle Bozzone is overseeing the series on behalf of Atomic Monster while the project is produced jointly by Amazon MGM Studios and Atomic Monster.

Prime Video has confirmed that all eight episodes of ’56 Days’ will premiere globally on February 18, 2026, in more than 240 countries and territories.
