An under-construction building in Sector 16 of Delhi Rohini collapsed on Wednesday afternoon, leaving at leastfive people trapped under the debris.
According to officials, emergency rescue teams, including four fire tenders and police personnel, were rushed to spot following the incident.
DCP Shashank Jaiswal reached the spot to take stock of the reacue operation.
The under-construction building reportedly collapsed due to heavy monsoon rains.

Earlier in the day, several people were feared trapped under debris after a building collapsed in the Moshi area of Pimpri Chinchwad in Maharashtra on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency response team, including fire brigade and police, rushed to the spot after a large portion of the administrative block of the Waste-to-Energy project of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation building collapsed.
According to reports, the building was located next to a waste mound and due to heavy rains, the mound came down and hit the building like a landslide.
