Kejriwal’s blue Wagon R car recovered from Ghaziabad

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s blue Wagon R car that was stolen on Thursday has been recovered by the police from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh (UP), police said on Saturday.

According to police, the car was lying abandoned on the roadside in Mohan Nagar area of Ghaziabad and was found by a patrolling team.

The UP police has contacted Delhi Police to verify the engine and chassis number.

The car, registered in the name of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), was at present being used by the party’s Media Coordinator Vandana Singh. It was stolen from outside Delhi Secretariat Gate number 3 on Thursday afternoon.

The car was gifted to Kejriwal by a party supporter. The Chief Minister now uses an official car.

Kejriwal had on Friday urged Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal to strengthen law and order in the city.
