Lashing out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his objectionable remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said the remarks were nothing but the frustration of the grand old party and its leaders, who have been rejected by the people.
Gupta said that failures of the Congress are taking a toll on its leaders, causing them to make irrelevant remarks. She said the entire country will once again demand answers from them when the next state elections arrive.

“The way their losing streak is currently unfolding, it will continue ahead,” she said, adding that with the statements and words they used, the country will keep giving them a befitting reply.

Delhi Ministers Parvesh Verma and Manjinder Sirsa also slammed Rahul Gandhi over his alleged indecent remarks and other Congress leaders’ continuous issuance of irresponsible statements, stating that all this reflects nothing, but their political desperation.
Taking to social media platform X, Delhi Minister Parvesh Verma said that when the public repeatedly rejected them through democratic means, they use such language as a diversionary tactic.

He said that for years, the entire country witnessed the grand old party’s alleged divisive politics, corruption, and misuse of power. Now, as the country advances on the global stage with strong leadership, it cannot ignore the public support for the BJP. “Rahul Gandhi must understand that while dissent is part of a democracy, maintaining decorum towards constitutional positions like the Prime Minister and Home Minister is the responsibility of every political party,” Verma added.

Meanwhile, Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa hit out at Rahul Gandhi, stating that the objectionable remarks he made about the PM and home minister reflect the Congress leader’s mindset and hatred. He said that the Congress leader must apologize for his remarks to the people of the country.

He said that the respect the PM commands on the global platform reflects the respect for the country’s entire population, and not the PM alone. “Therefore the objectionable remarks are also against the people of the country, and the Congress leader must apologize to them,” Sirsa added.

Earlier, BJP national president Nitin Nabin also condemned Rahul Gandhi’s remarks on the PM, stating that what he said is extremely unfortunate, as it exposes his anarchic and divisive mindset. He stated that in Indian politics, there has been a tradition of integrity and mutual respect, and such indecent language is completely unacceptable.
