Delhi BJP conducts cleanliness drive across all 256 mandals

On the completion of 12 successful years of service under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, Delhi BJP leaders and workers, under the leadership of Delhi BJP president and MP from East Delhi Harsh Malhotra, participated in cleanliness drives organised across all 256 organisational Mandals of the national capital on Wednesday.

The cleanliness activities were conducted in markets as well as temple premises, highlighting the importance of maintaining regular cleanliness.

Along with the Delhi BJP president, Organisation’s General Secretary Pawan Rana, National General Secretary Dushyant Gautam, several MPs, Delhi government Ministers, MLAs, councillors, district and Mandal presidents and office bearers participated in the cleanliness campaign.

The Delhi BJP president, along with MLA Abhay Verma, Ravinder Negi, State Vice President Sunita Kangra, Municipal Councillor Ram Kishore Sharma and Shahdara District President Deepak Gaba, formally started the cleanliness drive and said that cleanliness is a continuous responsibility.

Malhotra appreciated the efforts of MCD sanitation workers and other private sanitation workers and said to keep Delhi’s streets and roads clean, everyone must take a pledge not to throw garbage around. He said when Prime Minister Narendra Modi took oath for the first time in 2014, he emphasised cleanliness, and today it has become a people’s movement. Under the “Seva Hi Sangathan” initiative, cleanliness campaigns are being conducted across Delhi, and 3,500 points have been identified where cleanliness drives will be carried out.

Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta, Delhi Mayor Pravesh Wahi, Delhi Deputy Mayor Dr. Monica Pant, Delhi BJP General Secretary and MP Yogender Chandolia, Delhi BJP General Secretary and MP Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Delhi Government Ministers– Dr. Pankaj Singh and Ashish Sood, MP Manoj Tiwari, Delhi Government Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Delhi Jal Board Vice Chairman Satish Upadhyay and several BJP leaders, MLAs, councillors and office bearers also participated in the cleanliness drive in different parts of the city.

On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 12 years of continuous service, under the campaign “12 Years of Trust, Development and Public Welfare”, South Delhi MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri conducted a cleanliness drive at Hansraj Sethi Marg in B Block, Kalkaji, followed by a tree plantation programme.

South Delhi MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri and Delhi Government Development Minister Kapil Mishra participated in the cleanliness campaign.
