Crisil on Thursday announced the launch of ‘i360’, a unified, generative AI-led research, data and analytics platform aimed at enabling sharper and faster decision-making for financial institutions, corporates, investors, and policymakers, a Crisil statement said here.
Positioned as the largest integrated institutional intelligence portal developed by the company, i360 brings together Crisil’s full spectrum of research and analytics capabilities onto a single seamless interface.
The platform is powered by advanced generative AI to deliver real-time, actionable insights across macroeconomic trends, industries, companies and projects.
The platform integrates Crisil’s established offerings including Cutting Edge, Quantix, Navigator and its newly launched impact-analytics engine, ForeSight.
Together, these provide users with a comprehensive macro-to-micro view of the economy, eliminating the need to manually search across multiple reports and databases.
Crisil said the platform offers market intelligence sourced from nearly 1,000 industry sources, of which around one-third are primary sources.
It covers over 60,000 companies with detailed profiles and provides base-level coverage for approximately 20 lakh companies. The portal also hosts around 7,000 credit rating reports for Crisil-rated entities along with instrument-wise lender details across rating agencies.
The platform further delivers deep industry analytics across more than 85 sectors, covering cost structures, competitive intensity, demand-supply outlook, price trends and investment assessments. In addition, it features a capital expenditure database tracking more than 5,000 infrastructure and industrial projects.
Priti Arora, President and Business Head, Crisil Intelligence, described the launch as a key milestone in the company’s digital transformation journey.
She said the platform builds on nearly four decades of institutional research and data expertise, offering extensive coverage while simplifying content discovery and generating cross-sectoral insights.
According to her, the integrated tool is designed to enhance information fluidity and strengthen confidence in mission-critical decision-making.
Miren Lodha, Senior Director, Crisil Intelligence, said i360 serves as a single source of intelligence by providing access to proprietary tools such as the Sector Performance Grid, which maps opportunity and risk positioning across key sectors of the economy.
The newly introduced ForeSight engine links real-time shifts in macro and industry variables to company-level impact, while the Company Scorecard benchmarks a company’s financial performance against the broader universe or a customised peer group.
The platform also features custom dashboards, drag-and-drop data selection, cross-module access, advanced search capabilities, and a visually enhanced interface to improve user experience.
Crisil emphasised that i360 incorporates a comprehensive data ingestion framework with stringent quality control measures. The company highlighted robust governance mechanisms, rigorous validation processes, and continuous human oversight to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
With i360, Crisil aims to position itself at the forefront of AI-driven institutional intelligence, offering a unified platform that integrates research depth, analytical rigour and advanced technology to support complex decision-making across sectors.
