The 1st Indian Railways Basketball Women’s Mini League Championship 2025, hosted by Eastern Railway Sports Association (ERSA) from 25-27 July at Eastern Railway Indoor Stadium in Kolkata. The closing ceremony on Sunday was graced by Sheelendra Pratap Singh, additional general manager, Eastern Railway and the chief guest of the occasion. After the final match, Sheelendra Pratap Singh, additional general manager / Eastern Railway distributed trophies and medals to the champion team.
AGM was joined by other senior officials. Central Railway emerged as the champion of the 1st Indian Railways Basketball Women’s Mini League Championship 2025, while Integral Coach Factory secured the runners-up position. Eastern Railway claimed the 2nd runners-up position. The championship witnessed participation from five teams representing various Railway zones and production units. A total of 75 participants competed in the league matches, including several Arjuna Awardees and renowned international and national sportspersons.
