Eastern Railway celebrated the 70 Railway Week, hosting the prestigious Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar (zonal level) for the year 2025 at BC Roy Auditorium, Sealdah. The event, held to recognise dedication in rail service, saw Milind Deouskar, General Manager of Eastern Railway, presenting awards to 100 distinguished officers and staff members. He congratulated all the individual award winners as well as different divisions, workshops and departments for the excellence in different areas which made them eligible for bagging different shields and cups on the occasion of Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar 2025 of Eastern Railway.
The Howrah Division was crowned the winner for the General Manager’s Overall Efficiency and Overall Excellence Shield. The Malda Division followed closely, earning the General Manager’s Overall Efficiency Runners-up Shield.
Sealdah Division was given the Rolling Stock Shield and Car Shed Cup, while Asansol secured the Coaching Depot Cup.
