US President Donald Trump said that a deal with Iran to end the conflict and reopen the Strait of Hormuz is possible by Monday, April 6, the day his 10-day deadline ends, US-based Fox News reported on Sunday following an interview with the President.

Trump, however, also threatened to “blow everything up” and “take over the oil” if Iran doesn’t agree to the peace deal quickly.

This follows his “expletive-laden” warning to Iran, threatening to target power plants and bridges on Tuesday.

“Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP,” he wrote on Truth Social.

Earlier on Saturday, Trump reminded Iran that time is running out for the country to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, warning that “all hell will rain down” if Tehran didn’t make a deal in the next 48 hours.

The 10-day deadline set by Trump for Iran to make a deal or open the Strait of Hormuz ends on April 6. The ultimatum from the US President came amid massive troop buildup in the Middle East with Trump reportedly considering a ground invasion in Iran.

“Remember when I gave Iran ten days to MAKE A DEAL or OPEN UP THE HORMUZ STRAIT. Time is running out – 48 hours before all Hell will rain down on them. Glory be to GOD! President DONALD J. TRUMP,” the US President wrote on Truth Social.

Before the 10-day deadline, Trump had last month given Iran a 48-hour ultimatum to open the Hormuz Strait or face attacks on power plants, oil wells, and potentially desalination plants.

However, he postponed the strikes just before the deadline was about to end, saying the US and Iran have had productive talks to end the conflict.
