The Eastern Region qualifier of Toyota IGU National Club Challenge will tee off at Bhubaneswar Golf Club tomorrow with around 100 club golfers with handicaps of 24 and below, getting an opportunity to represent their club on a National level.
Club members above the age of 18 (Men & Ladies) will take part in the team selection round, spread over two days, in five handicap categories which are 0-6, 7-10, 11-15, 16-20 and 21-24. The individual winner in each handicap category will automatically be selected to represent the club team while the 6th team member and captain will be nominated by the club. The second stage, the East zone finals, which will take place at Tollygunge Club, Kolkata on 13 December. At the 18 hole Zonal finals, the best five 18 hole total stableford scores of the six players will make the team score and the top two teams from each of four Zonal Finals will qualify for the 3rd stage ~ the National Finals.
The Club qualifiers, Zonal Finals and National Finals will be played in individual Stableford off 3/4th handicap allowance.
