Police have sought public assistance in locating four Indian-origin men, aged between 22-30 years, in connection with an aggravated assault that took place in Canadian city of Brampton.
A suspect is in police custody after eight people were shot dead on Saturday in Mississippi, international media reported. Among those killed is also a deputy sheriff. The identity of the suspect has not been revealed yet.
Mississippi Bureau of Investigation spokesman Warren Strain was quoted as saying that the shootings occurred at three separate homes Saturday night in rural Lincoln County. Strain said charges have not yet been filed against the suspect and discuss a motive would be “premature”.
It was not clear whether the suspect knew his victims before allegedly killing them.
