Bhubaneswar, 11 November: Two ships – INS Kirch and INS Sukanya of the Eastern Naval Command based at Visakhapatnam will be open to public viewing on 13 and 14 November at Paradip as part of the Navy Week celebrations.
These ships will be open for the general public from 1000 hrs to 1700 hrs on both days, allowing visitors a firsthand experience of India&’s naval capabilities and service life, said a release issued by the Navy here.
Photography would be strictly prohibited due security reasons. Additionally, for reasons of safety, children below 10 years of age will not be allowed on board the ships. The Navy celebrates the 4 December as the Navy Day. To commemorate this day, the Navy conducts various events such as band concerts, medical camps, felicitation of veterans. sns
