Bickram Ghosh launches new music label Eternal Sounds

To carry forward the rich legacy of music that is more enduring and genres more diverse, music maestro Bickram Ghosh launched a new music label titled Eternal Sounds. From a plethora of styles and genres that range from classical, film, and folk to modern and spiritual, the label is visioned to foster evergreen musical creations.

A brainchild of Bickram Ghosh, the music label is a collaboration of Mr. Utsav Parekh, Financial Markets Guru; Mr. Mayank Jalan, Industrialist, Managing Director at Keventer Agro Ltd.; Mr. Gaurang Jalan, National Award Winner & Film Maker and Bickram Ghosh, Music maestro.

The label was launched by eminent personalities like singer Usha Uthup, director Arindam Sil, musician Ustad Rashid Khan, actress Jaya Seal Ghosh and others. The content at Eternal Sounds will be guided by the ears of Pt. Bickram Ghosh is known globally for the quality of his musical works in films, music albums, and live shows.

Speaking to the media, Maestro Bickram Ghosh, Proprietor, Taalim – said, ‘’Most people today concentrate only on creating music which is the flavor of the season whereas, on the other hand, Eternal Sounds vision is to concentrate on creating music that is enduring. Some names worth mentioning here are Hariharan, Usha Uthup, Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Kavita Seth, and Mahalakshmi Iyer.” 

He also added, “In the classical genre we will work with Pt Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Pt. Enjoy Chakraborty, Ustad Rashid Khan, Pt Ronu Mazumdar, and Kaushiki Chakraborty amongst many others, with whom we will be creating many soulful compositions. We also wish to create several International collaborations with several prominent artists (depending on their acquiescence) like John Mc Laughlin, Norah Jones, Ricky Cage, Anoushka Shankar, Greg Ellis, Steve Smith, etc. which may be Grammy-worthy entries from India. These projects will aim to create a mark on the international music scene of the world too.” 

On this occasion, Mr. Mayank Jalan said, “We want to create that music, which covers the entire plethora of Indian music, and is not necessarily driven by the objective of a seasonal hit.”
