Google’s Gemini Just Got Personal
Google has rolled out a new feature called
Personal Intelligence
for its Gemini app, aimed at making AI responses more relevant to individual users.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai:
AI that understands you, not just your questions.

The feature allows Gemini to work with selected Google services like Gmail, Photos and Search to deliver answers shaped by your own data context.
Instead of generic replies, Gemini can now help recall past emails, saved details or memories — but only when you ask it to.
"It's built with privacy at the centre. You choose exactly which apps to connect, these connected app settings are off by default"
- Sundar Pichai
Once enabled, Gemini connects the dots across approved apps to provide smarter, situational responses, without constantly tracking you.

The feature is launching in
beta
for Google’s AI Pro and Ultra users in the US, across web, Android and iOS platforms.

This move signals Google’s push toward AI that feels less like a tool and more like a personal assistant built around real life.
