And, it's a new day. You got to go where the lights are shining… Get moving. Hitch a hike. Catch a train. Hop on to a bus… and travel on. Your destination is where the lights are.
Well, there you are… wheeling out the driveway. You hit the road and soon you are on the highway. It's been a while, but the road is long. You've been passing through places and new faces are staring out at you. The places are familiar. The faces bring back old memories. Yes, you've been on this road before.
The sun has long set, and the night is drawing… It's been a long while, indeed. But, you feel bound for nowhere…
Cheer up! Keep moving. Stop a while around the bend, if you must. Keep travelling. You may hit a crossroad, but that’s when the fun begins. You have a wide open space and you can take any which turn. The choice is yours.
You are rolling on the wagon now, and there’s no turning back. And, you can keep going wherever the road takes you. The road will always lead you to destination anywhere. Sometimes, when the road gets rough, get off the track and take a side walk, wander into the deep and lose yourself.
It’s when you lose yourself that you find a new world – a beautiful world where you can find yourself.
Just get going when you don’t want to be where you are. Travel on when you have nowhere to go. Chug along with a smile no matter how heavy your load is, and you shall find a happy, beautiful place… the lights are shining on you!
