Vodafone ‘SuperWeek plan’ at Rs. 69 offers unlimited calls, 500MB data

Vodafone India has announced a new short-duration plan that offers unlimited calling and 500 MB data at Rs. 69 with 7 days of validity.

The move comes at a time when the Indian telecom market – the second-largest in the world after China – is witnessing an intensifying competition among telecom operators which are trying to outdo each other with newer packs and attractive bundled offers to woo consumers.

Reliance Jio also has a similar weekly prepaid plan priced at Rs. 52. It offers unlimited local, STD and roaming calls, along with a total of 1.05GB data with 150MB per day limit.

Vodafone, in a statement, said its ‘SuperWeek plan’ will enable customers to make “unlimited local and STD calls to any network bundled with 500 MB data at just Rs 69 for a week”.

With SuperWeek, the key objective is to offer a pocket-friendly and affordable unlimited plan that will appeal to all prepaid consumers. This plan will further enable our customers to remain confidently connected and enjoy a worry-free Vodafone SuperNet 4G experience on our best network ever,” said Avneesh Khosla, Associate Director – Consumer Business, Vodafone India, in a press statement.

Repeat purchases of the pack can be made, Vodafone said, adding that the new packs are available across all retail outlets, USSD, website and its app.
