After launching the Carvaan portable music speaker earlier this year, Saregama India on Monday launched another portable Bluetooth speaker targeted at people who want to carry their music with them.
Dubbed Carvaan Mini, the portable Bluetooth speaker is priced at Rs. 2,490. The Carvaan Mini allows you to stream music from your phone or music streaming apps. Users get an option to plug in USB pen drive, and also listen to a pre-loadeded collection of 251 most popular retro Hindi songs, sung by Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle and Mukesh.
The predecessor Carvaan portable music player had 5000 pre-loaded retro songs.

“Carvaan Mini is for those music lovers who want to listen to music anywhere anytime. Along with 251 greatest songs selected based on data analytics, Carvaan Mini also doubles up as a personal music player with its USB and Bluetooth functionality. For today’s youth music is an essential and a personal part of life; and Mini positions itself comfortably in this space,” said Vikram Mehra, Managing Director, Saregama India.
Although small in size, Carvaan Mini supports powerful speakers to play both Saregama’s pre-loaded
songs and your personal music through Bluetooth 4.1, USB 2.0 and AUX. It features a rechargeable battery which according to company lasts approximately 4-5 hours.
The Carvaan Mini will be available in two colour options. It can be purchased from Saregama.com, Amazon, and major retail outlets like Croma, Reliance Digital etc. Carvaan Mini is priced at Rs. 2,490.
