OnePlus has rolled out the first update for its latest flagship device, the OnePlus 6. The update brings a host of new features for its users along with some bug fixes.

The latest update brings the slow-motion video support for the latest smartphone. This will allow users to capture slow-mo videos at 480fps at 720p resolution and at 240fps at 1080p resolution. Further, the new update also brings the ability to hide/show the notch on the latest smartphone, which is similar to what we have seen in some Huawei and Honor devices. The device will be updated to the latest Android security patch of May.

With the latest update, the OnePlus Switch application now comes pre-loaded. This will help the users to transfer all their data like photos, call logs, messages, apps and more from their old device to the OnePlus 6. Apart from this, the update brings support for quick capture in portrait mode and support for more actions for recently deleted files in Gallery.

To recollect some key specifications, the phone is equipped with 6.28-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor along with Adreno 609 GPU.

The device is backed by a 6GB/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of UFS 2.1 storage options. The smartphone features dual rear cameras with a combination of 20-megapixel with Sony IMX 519 sensor and 16-megapixel Sony IMX376K sensor along with optical image stabilization and electronic image stabilization. For the front, there is a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with company’s OxygenOS 5.1 running on top of it. The phone comes loaded with gesture navigations and Gaming Mode that enhances the gaming experience.
