LG Q6+ with Face Recognition, 4GB RAM and Android 7.1.1 launched in India

LG has launched a plus variant of the Q6 smartphone in India. The LG Q6+ comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, instead of 3GB + 32GB LG Q6 launched last month in the country. Rest of the specifications of LG Q6+ are same as the Q6.

The LG Q6+ features a 7000 series aluminum frame. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.

Commenting on the launch, Amit Gujral, Chief Marketing Officer, LG Electronics India said, “The new LG Q6+ sets the benchmark in bringing the best of technology at an accessible price point to the consumers in India. Now more than ever, mobile devices are at the center of consumers’ lives as they look for a synthesis of usability and best technology and Q6+ is sure to offer them the same.”

The LG Q6+ has been priced at Rs. 17,990. It comes in two colour options – Astro Black and Ice Platinum. It will be available from retail stores offline starting today. Additionally, LG is offering one-time free screen replacement in 6 months.
