Now, find all your Facebook moments in one place — Memories

Facebook has launched a new dedicated page called “Memories“, which will keep all the moments a user shared with friends and family over the years. Facebook Memories will be the single place that will store posts and photos, new friendships and major life events over the years.

“Today, we’re launching Memories, a single place on Facebook to reflect on the moments you’ve shared with family and friends…” Oren Hod, Product Manager at Facebook, said in a blog post on 11 June.

The page can be accessed through the Memories bookmark to the left of the News Feed if you are using desktop, or in the “more” tab on the bottom right of your mobile app.

Facebook Memories will have sections such as “On This Day”, “Friends Made On This Day”, “Recaps of Memories”, and “Memories You May Have Missed”.

“Every day more than 90 million people use On This Day to reminisce about these moments they’ve shared on Facebook,” said Hod, adding: “…we’re updating the experience to ensure all of your memories are easy to find.”

The On This Day section will continue to have your old content, and show your past posts and major life events from this date.

The Friends Made On This Day section will include a list of friends you made on this date in the past. It will also have special videos or collages celebrating your friendversaries.

Recaps of Memories will feature “seasonal or monthly recaps of memories that have been bundled into a message or short video”.

The section called Memories You May Have Missed, as the name suggests, will show you the posts that you might have missed from the past week.

You can also access “Memories” through notifications and via messages in News Feed.
