Apple alongside iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus introduced the 10th Anniversary Special Edition ‘iPhone X’ flagship smartphone at an event held at the all new Apple headquarters ‘Steve Jobs Theater’ in Cupertino.

The new iPhone X which Apple calls the iPhone Ten (10), is a more premium flagship smartphone from the company, and has been placed above the new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. It has all new design philosophy from Apple. The front gets 5.8-inch bezel-less edge-to-edge glass display, and Apple has dropped the signature Home button as well.

Now there is no Touch ID fingerprint sensor, and Apple instead has introduced a new Face ID facial recognition and unlocking system. The Cupertino giant claims that unless you have an identical twin, there is no way that someone can get away with the Face ID security. Infact, the mechanism is as such that it learns person’s facial changes over the time, so whether you anything apart from a full face plastic surgery, it’ll still work as charm.

Apple iPhone X Price, India Price and Availability

Apple iPhone X is price starts at $999 for the 64GB model. The 256GB iPhone X will cost $1,149. It will be available for pre-order starting, October 27 in several countries. The sale of iPhone X will start from November 3.

In India, the iPhone X will also be up for pre-booking from October 27 and the sale will start from November 3. Apple iPhone X price in India will be Rs. 89,000 for the 64GB storage variant. The 256GB model is said to cost Rs. 1,02,000. It will only come in two colour options – Silver and Space Gray.

To note, new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will be available in India from September 29 at a starting price of Rs. 64,000 for the 64GB model. These will be available in Gold, Silver and Space Gray colour options.
