Why teens are getting more prone to obesity?

Today, an estimated 1 in 5 school-age children are considered obese. When compared to children of the same sex and height, obese children rank in the 95th percentile or above. Many factors contribute to this epidemic such as genetics, unhealthy habits, lack of physical activity, and environmental difficulties.

"For an ideal study, from a purely scientific perspective, we'd give everybody an e-cigarette, follow them for a few years and see if they start smoking, then rewind the clock and don't give them an e-cigarette," said study author Brittney Keller-Hamilton from Ohio State University in the US.
