Broadly positive Asian markets along with healthy macro-economic trade data and low crude oil prices buoyed the key Indian equity indices during the early morning trade session on Friday.
The Sensitive Index (Sensex) of the BSE, which had closed at 35,141.99 on Wednesday, opened marginally higher at 35,145.75.
The Sensex of the BSE opened at a high of 35,330.14. It touched a low of 35,251.34.
The Indian rupee was trading at Rs 73.18 to a US dollar, from its previous close of 73.57. Also, the benchmark Brent crude oil price eased to $75.90 a barrel.
The Sensex touched a high of 35,667.31 points and a low of 35,309.67 in trade so far.
