J-K Municipal Elections: Deserted booths in Kashmir, long queues at Jammu and Ladakh

Poor polling of about 6.2 percent was witnessed for the 72 seat Srinagar Municipal Corporation. However, polling percentage for the Jammu Municipal Corporation was to the tune of 64 percent. Polling for the 7 municipal committees of Jammu district was between 80 and 92 percent.
