Former Union Minister and Congress leader Anand Sharma reacted on Thursday to the allegations of the Enforcement Directorate against Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and called them "baseless".

Kharge pointed out that he is contesting for the Congress president post because senior leaders of the party encouraged him to contest.

In a series of tweets former union minister said, 'extraordinary situations call for extraordinary response,' and bold measures and sector-specific stimulus alone can save the economic collapse.

'Q3 results are generally very strong...But this year's result has been the lowest in the last seven years,' said Anand Sharma. Raising concerns over the deteriorating GDP trend, he stressed on the nominal GDP, which he claimed should be much higher than it is as of today.
