For past 48 years, the students’ union of Jogesh Chandra Chaudhuri Law College is organising annual educational excursion. The event is an uninterrupted success and is one of its kind for a Law College in West Bengal. This year the annual educational Excursion 2019 in Puducherry in collaboration with the Union Territory of Puducherry Legal Services Authority.
Last week the Union Territory of Puducherry Legal Services Authority , Puducherry hosted the inaugural session for 76 students of the college for “Legal Quiz and Seminar on French Law” in the campus of the Integrated Court Complex at Puducherry. The quiz and the seminar took place in the presence of Thiru V. Dhanapal,Chief Judge, Puducherry), V. Sofana Devi (district Judge / member secretary, Union Territory of Puducherry Legal Services Authority, Thiru L. Robert Kennedy Ramesh (principal subjudge, Puducherry), president and secretary of Puducherry Bar Association and Arka Kumar Nag, state advocate for Government of West Bengal.
The Seminar was conducted by Thiru K. S. Mohandass (former judge, Family Court Puducherry & Former Public Prosecutor, Puducherry) and the Legal Quiz was conducted by the Thiru B. Mohandass (senior advocate). The inauguration programme ended with a sumptuous lunch celebrating World Food Day.
