Miss and Mrs Bengal, an initiative to hunt bong beauties from different parts of West Bengal, will take place in the month of October. Auditions will be held in different cities of the state like Durgapur, Asansol, Siliguri and Kolkata in the month of August and September. Throughout the competition training and workshops will be conducted by experts, celebrities and top fashionistas of Kolkata. Winners will be getting exciting opportunities to shine in the fashion and film industry.
To unveil the logo and crown of Miss and Mrs Bengal a programme was organised recently in the city. The mentors from different cities were also announced. Face for the Mrs category is Suparna Mukherjee, Mrs Asia Pacific 2018 and for the Miss, the category is Prarthana Sarkar who is the winner of Femina Miss India West Bengal.
According to mentors Sarkar and Mukherjee, the participants will be trained not just for the event but will be made industry ready.

“We will change the way beauty contests are being organised across the world. Miss and Mrs Bengal will have no height and weight restrictions, because we believe these aren’t the only criteria to judge the beauty of a woman. What makes a woman beautiful is her confidence,” said organiser Gautam Banerjee. The auditions will start from 15 September.
