Former Real Madrid star Kaka on Sunday revealed that once Cristiano Ronaldo had bought fifteen phones for the staff members of La Liga giants while describing the ‘attentive’ nature of the Portugal great.

Both Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka signed for Real Madrid in 2009 and played in four seasons together for Los Blancos. While Real Madrid signed Kaka for the then world record fee of £56.1 million, they had shelled out £80m to sign Ronaldo from Premier League giants Manchester United in 2009 summer transfer window.

Speaking to SporTV Brazil, Kaka “We were going to pre-season in Los Angeles, he would ask someone to buy 15 phones and distribute them to people who worked at the club,” before adding, “In very basic everyday things, he showed a lot of the human being who is.”

Kaka further said, “Cristiano is an amazing guy, really, everyday, he’s a kind of ‘grade 10’, super attentive to everybody.” However, Kaka’s inspiring tale about five-time Baloon d’Or will come as little surprise to those who have followed Ronaldo’s generosity.

Cristiano Ronaldo is known for his grand gestures. Earlier, as per reports in media, CR7 had left a £17,850 tip for the hotel staff after his stay at a luxury resort in Greece.

The star duo of Kaka and Ronaldo went on to win a La Liga title and Copa Del Rey cup together but their careers in Madrid differed as the Brazilian struggled to maintain a regular position in Jose Mourinho’s side.

In 2013, Kaka returned to AC Milan and later joined Orlando City, where he finished his career. CR7 also left Real Madrid in 2018 summer transfer window for the Italian Champions Juventus.
