Indian women's cricket team, led by Mithali Raj, won the toss and opted to bat first against arch-rivals Pakistan in an ICC Women's World Cup match at County Ground in Derby  on Sunday.

"Sixteen consecutive wins is an ideal build up. The core players have been performing well. I hope that in the coming game, the team comtinues to perform," skipper Mithali said after winning the toss.

Mansi Joshi made her place in India's playing eleven, replacing Shikha Pandey for the much-competitive match.

"This is going to be the first one (win against India) if we are to do that. We come here to play good cricket and cause an upset, hopefully," Pakistan captain Sana Mir said.
