Suresh Raina is going to get a lot of attention today as he is making his comeback in the Indian national cricket team after one year.

After their golden run over the South African team in the six-match One-day International (ODI) series, Virat Kohli’s squad will look to start the three-match T20I series on the winning note.

The opening T20I match will be played at the New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Sunday. Ahead of the match, Rain was seen sweating it out on the net.

However, it is not yet confirmed whether Suresh Raina would be included in India’s playing eleven or not.

Other than Raina, opener Lokesh Rahul and Jaydev Unadkat were also seen practicing on the net.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video on micro-blogging site, Twitter and wrote, ” How’s that for a @ImRaina flourish! #TeamIndia #SAvIND”

“Snapshots from #TeamIndia’s stint at the nets ahead of the 1st T20I at The Wanderers #SAvIND,” BCCI’s Tweet further read.

The Southpaw’s return is the most talked aspect of the T20 series among the Indian fans. Raina had played his last ODI match in 2015 and he was last seen playing for India in the shortest format of the game last year against England.

Raina has scored 104 runs in three matches, including a half-century, yet he was not selected for the next series.

However, there were rumours that he might return in Champions Trophy 2017, but the Indian selectors ignored him. Meanwhile, in the Indian Premier League 2017, Raina scored 442 runs for Gujarat Lions.

Raina was also ignored from T20I set-up in 2017-18 on the home soil but later it was revealed that the reason behind his absence was that he failed in obligatory ‘Yo-Yo’ fitness test.
