Star Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah started his international cricketing career as a white ball specialist, and now he has become an integral part of Team India in all formats (Tests, ODIs, T20Is). Bumrah made his debut in Test cricket in South Africa earlier this year and since then he has grown from strength to strength.

A video of a 5-year-old Pakistani child trying to emulate Jasprit Bumrah’s action has taken the internet by storm. The video was posted by a Pakistani national on Twitter. “5 Years Old kid from pak is a big fan of You.. after watching you in the recently concluded Asia cup every time he tries to bowl like him. Anyway, Happy Birthday @virendersehwag Sir😊” the caption of the video read on Twitter.

Delighted by the efforts of the kid, a nostalgic Jasprit Bumrah replied: “As a kid, I remember how I used to copy the actions of my cricketing heroes. 🏏 It’s a wonderful feeling to see kids copying my action today.😃 #childhoodflashbacks #Grateful #nostalgia”

After helping India lift the Asia Cup 2018, Jasprit Bumrah has been rested for the first two One Day Internationals (ODI) against West Indies. However, whether he would be named in the Indian squad for remaining three ODI is not yet confirmed.
